Planning applications such as this are decided at 'determination meeting' of the planning committee. A recommendation will put to the committee by the designated planning officer, Peter Joel, and this will then be debated before a vote is taken.

It is very important that - in addition to the planning officer himself - the Councillors who sit on this committee are made aware of the widespread support there is for this proposal in the neighbourhood. Please make your feelings known by writing to Peter Joel, and also to as many of the Councillors as you feel able to.
