Welcome from BREES!
Bucks Renewable Energy & Environmental Society
Milton Keynes District Council has approved the wind farm!!
We would like to thank everyone who joined us with their support – and to the Councillors of Milton Keynes Council for giving it the go-ahead.
If you’ve enjoyed making a difference with the MK Windfarm, how about carrying on campaigning for change with MK Friends of the Earth. The group is really active in the local area, and they need new members to keep up the pressure on wind power, transport and energy campaigns.

Climate Change - the time for action.
Many people, including the vast majority of the world's leading climatologists, believe that global warming is the greatest threat to our planet. There is also general agreement that the cause of this is the level of CO2 in the atmosphere. This is because it is now at a far higher level than it has been for at least 600,000 years. Unless something is done, there will be serious adverse effects on the environment in every way... including the landscape!
It is time for action!
Onshore wind energy has an important role to play in helping to reduce CO2 emissions. It
is currently one of the most cost effective sources of providing renewable energy.
Recent surveys has show that around 80% of local people support wind farm proposals!
